Dr. Heasty graduated in 2012 from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO. While in his last year of Chiropractic School, he had the opportunity to provide chiropractic care to athletes at the University of Missouri & worked various AAU track meets. Dr. Heasty implements a whole body approach to functional movement and biomechanics. His goal is to help his patients get well, move well and stay well!

Dr. Heasty received a Master’s of Science degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation from Logan University in 2013. He utilizes preventative rehab exercises and stretches to help patients further their care at home and to help strengthen weak problem areas that may be causing their underlying issue.

In 2014, Dr. Heasty completed and passed the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician exam through the American Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians. Courses taken through this certification included but are not limited to: concussion management, emergency procedures, extremity adjusting and taping.

Rod is a 2009 graduate from Kansas State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. While at Kansas State, he participated in various research projects through the Kinesiology Department. He was an active member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity for four years, participating in intramural athletics & various philanthropy events throughout the community.

Rod is from a small farming community, Mayfield, KS. Which is located in south central Kansas. He attended Wellington High School, where he graduated in 2005. Throughout high school, he participated in cross country, basketball, & golf.

Since 2012, he and his colleagues have spent time as the sport medicine physicians for Rock Creek High School.
He enjoys all outside activities including long distance running, playing golf, basketball, & softball.
He has been a K-State fan his whole life and enjoys attending and watching the football & basketball games. GO CATS!
